The Mother’s Day Out program at First Presbyterian Church was developed to meet the needs of the young child. With periods of play, story time, art projects, songs, and games designed for each group, your child is sure to experience a loving, caring and Christian environment.

Our Mother’s Day Out program is provided each Monday and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. for children three months to kindergarten age. Please do not bring your child before 9:00 a.m. as this is the time your teacher spends preparing the classroom for the day. Please pick you child up on time at the end of the day. There is a late fee of $5.00 for any portion of each 5 minutes your child is in our care after 1:35 p.m. Please be prepared to pay the late fee if you are late.

We follow the S.A.I.S.D. school calendar. For school holidays, vacations, and “bad weather days”, we follow the decisions made by the S.A.I.S.D. School Board.

Dawn Thompson, Director of the Preschool – is the Director of the “Angel Academy,” which is currently a two-day a week preschool program. Growing up in Midland, Texas, Dawn is married to Matthew and they are the parents of two daughters.
