Mosaic Meditaions on the Life of Christ ~ No Greater Love

No Greater Love

For our sake God made the one who knew no sin to be sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.

Our Bible study 2 years ago at First Presbyterian was on the book “The Truth of the Cross”; bu R.C. Sproul. Bill Morehead brought the book to our group. The study helped me understand more in my heart what happened at the moment Jesus’ human body died. The punishment for our sin is death. That penalty and that punishment was paid by Jesus in that moment. He suffered and died so that we may be saved.

Although we are not Catholic and our symbolism doesn’t typically show Jesus on the cross, We are Christians. And all Christians were forever changed by that miraculous, devine act of grace.

I wanted to honor what Jesus did for humanity that day.

II Corinthians 5:21

For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
